Ts Anwarudin is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Reservoir Link Energy Bhd and Executive
Director of its subsidiary Reservoir Link Solutions spearheading the business growth strategies in key  areas in aspiration of building resilient corporation providing global solutions in upstream O&G and Energy market. Previously he had served various Multinational and national organization both in Service Segment and Hydrocarbon Producers. He had been an active member of SPE since 2004. He is currently the SPE KL section Chairman and the recipient of the 2014 Asia Pacific Region Outstanding Young Member Award, 2018 Regional Service Award, 2020 Public Service Award and 2021 Technical Award for Production Operations. He also the current Exco member of Malaysia Oil and Gas Service Council and Founding Member/ Board Member of Koperasi Tenaga & Petroleum Berhad. He is a registered member of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Professional Technologist and assessor registered with Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). He is also board member of Trustee of Yayasan UTP. He also serves as Industry Advisory Panellist for UiTM, UniKL, UMP, UCSI and UTP.  He actively shares Industry best practices to young generation as an Adjunct Lecturer in University of Malaya and UTP. Ts Anwarudin holds B.sc (Hons) Mechanical with minor in petroleum from UTP and Msc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London.


Throughout 17 years of his experience in Oil and Gas industry, he had developed various
technologies in the sector primarily in Hydrocarbon Production and Operations. His experience span across, operations, R&D, application engineering, sales and marketing, corporate strategy, business, and product development.


He had published numerous SPE papers, articles, and journals on application of technologies in
production operations and sat as publication review committee on various SPE conferences,
symposium, workshops. He is a vivid technocrat, spearheading and continue to build his organization to develop local talents who value add to national hydrocarbon asset and continue to pursue new areas of technology applications in energy industry.

Ts. Ariff graduated from University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST) with a Master of Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering & Management.


Ariff’s journey in PETRONAS began in 2001 in Upstream Operations. Thereafter, his exposure
included the areas of Internal Audit, Change Management, Strategic Planning and JV Asset
management. His international experience includes managing non-operated assets in Chad, Egypt and Algeria as well as stints in Turkmenistan and Argentina.


Upon his return from Argentina in 2018, Ariff was assigned to Malaysia Petroleum Management
(MPM), the upstream Malaysia regulatory arm of PETRONAS, initially in Production Delivery. In July 2020, Ariff was appointed as General Manager, Asset Decommissioning, MPM

Ts. Syed Saggaf Syed Ahmad

Ts. Syed Saggaf bin Syed Ahmad is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Shapadu Oil and Gas Division, managing the Group’s interest in Oil and Gas industry from services segment, both upstream and downstream, and management of group’s marine assets.


He graduated from University Tenaga Nasional in 2002 with Bachelor in Mechanical
Engineering (Hons). Upon graduation, he started his career as mechanical/piping engineer with Haven Engineering. Subsequently, he continued his career with stints at Ramunia Fabricators Sdn Bhd in 2004, and Coral Intoil Sdn Bhd in 2008.


Syed Saggaf has been with Shapadu group since 2010, where he started as Project Manager. In his time with Shapadu, he was promoted to Senior Project Manager, General Manager, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, before eventually becomes the Chief Executive OfficerinJanuary 2017.  He now have approximately 20 years experience in the industry, managing major contracts from  major clients with an approximate worthof RM 2 billion.


His leadership quality was instrumental in steering Shapadu towards the right direction after the oil price crash of 2015. He came out with detail transformation plan which includes restructuring exercises, rehabilitation to ensure resilient business model via diversification of portfolios, and finally preparing platforms to accelerate growth. From 2018 to 2021, Shapadu Energy Services had a steady growth of revenue (approximately RM 200M) and steady profitability withorder book estimated to be approximately RM 600m up to 2029.


He is also the current Honorary Secretary of Malaysian Oil and Gas Services Council (MOGSC) where he plays a prominent role in portfolios such as Decommissioning, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), Hook up Commissioning and Start Up (HUCSU) and Downstream. Other than this, he has been engaging with stakeholders to ensure the industry is properly managed  and aligned in expectations.

Noriani Yati Mohamad

Head, Sarawak

Noriani Yati Mohamad is currently Head, Resource Development & Management for Sarawak. She focuses on strategizing the overall development and management of oil & gas resources in Sarawak, Malaysia.

 

Since joining PETRONAS in 1994 as a Production Technologist, Yati has held various positions as Reservoir Surveillance Engineer, Joint Venture Engineer, Planning Manager and Well Intervention Manager.

 

After 20 years with PETRONAS Carigali, she joined Malaysia Petroleum Management in 2014 to assume the role of host government and manage Petroleum Arrangement contractors. She played a key role in the unitization of several Malaysia-Brunei fields and strategizing the integrated development of sour gas fields in Sarawak. She is currently leading the establishment of  PETRONAS Upstream CCS framework and Operating Model.

 

In 2020, Yati became the first female to be appointed as Skill Group Advisor for Petroleum Engineering and is currently the only female technical advisor in PETRONAS.

EDNA SUNG BURONGOH is currently the Managing Director of VIVA Odyssey (VO) and VIVA Group. VO is an international provider of diversified System Technology & Manpower Services with a focus on the offshore safety and risk management specializing in the Vessel Maritime, Oil & Gas, Construction industries including fabrication yards and factories. She is currently the CEO for VIVA Safety and Tech Solutions (Borneo) of which will be heading the safety division of VIVA Group in Sabah, Sarawak and Kalimantan.

 

She is also an ESG accredited practitioner and currently pursuing Masters in Sustainable Development. This is line with VIVA Group’s direction to adhere to the ESG and SDG standards, as well as having a solid sustainability plan for the whole group.

 

She heads the Viva Starfish initiative which is the sustainability division of Viva Odyssey and the social impact arm of the VIVA Group with the focus on education, livelihood, empowerment, mental health and community building.

Rohaizat B Ghazalli, holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in Petroleum Engineering
from the University of Technology, Malaysia. He also holds a certificate in Petroleum Engineering. His areas of expertise include technical, operational, commercial, procurement and regulatory surrounding wells intervention, wells integrity, workover, coiled tubing, completion and wells abandonment. He has vast experience in idle wells management and production enhancement in which he focuses on maximizing the value from existing field assets domestically and internationally. He developed digital blueprint for Well Intervention and Integrity in accelerating Production Enhancement proposal, prudent Well Integrity management, optimizing Well Intervention and Integrity resources and seamless data fluidity connection with subsurface or petroleum engineer group.


With his current portfolio, Rohaizat B Ghazalli strategizes the implementation of new digital & innovative solutions to improve service delivery in PETRONAS operations, including but not limited to technical system & applications and dynamically predictive Machine Learning algorithm. He provide integrated solutions for well engineering and business process management through engineering suites and technical applications, while ensuring availability of applications with highest standards to support international and domestic operations for business growth and sustainability.


Rohaizat B Ghazalli also facilitate collaborative well planning and Wells RTC services such as drilling optimization & detailed technical analysis, predictive modelling & dynamic monitoring and increase operational efficiency, pace, and accuracy while ensuring real-time operation (RTO) infrastructure readiness for real-time monitoring & project team utilization which include data migration from legacy real-time data system for offset studies purposes.

Huzaimi Amir

Huzaimi Amir is currently leading Peninsula Hibiscus Sdn Bhd (PHSB) decommissioning team which consist of selected professionals as South Angsi Alpha (SAA) decommissioning Project Manager. Covering pre-decommissioning, FSO Removal, Plug & Abandonment and Facility Removal.

 

Prior to transitioning to Petroleum Sharing Contractors (PSC), last positioned held with Offshore Installation Contractors (OIC) as Senior Manager Operations for Offshore Construction, managing all offshore operations pertaining to major installation projects. Aside from the main task of leading in the aspect of technical, commercial & contractual matter of all ongoing projects, simultaneously undertake the responsibility of grooming young engineers.


He is in the 20th year of offshore installation and marine construction with five (5) reputable Oil & Gas companies. Experienced in handling all offshore installation campaigns for platform (lifting & launching), pipeline (Carbon Steel & Corrosion Resistant Alloy – CRA), flexible hoses, umbilical, power cable, Mid Water Arch, subsea structure (WYE piece, spools, risers, etc) and FPSO mooring installation. International assignment covers Vietnam, Azerbaijan (Baku), Korea (Ulsan), Russia (Sakhalin) & Thailand.
