Ts Anwarudin is currently the Executive Director & Chief Technology Officer at Reservoir Link Energy Bhd.  Previously he had served various Multinational and National level corporations both in Service Segment and Hydrocarbon Producers. He had been an active member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2004. He is currently the SPE KL section Chairman and the recipient of the 2014 Asia Pacific Region Outstanding Young Member Award, 2018 Regional Service Award, 2020 Public Service Award and 2021 Technical Award for Production Operations. He is the member of SPE Asia Pacific Regional Technical Advisory Committee.   He is the current Honorary Secretary of MOGSC and had held various roles since 2018. In the capacity of MOGSC, he actively advocates for sustainability of OGSE ecosystem. He was very active in advocating to spur innovation and commercialization culture among OGSE players and founded a platform for various stakeholders to elevate local innovators via OGSE innovation Award (OIA). He had been spearheading various missions through MOGSC in relation to addressing pain points and challenges faced by OGSE sector through various initiatives with PETRONAS, PAC’s and Government agencies to create conducive business environment for OSGE sector to thrive and prosper. He is board member of Trustee of PETRONAS University of Technology. He contributes actively in the development of talents and capability in industries across the board in the capacity of Chairman of Jawatan Kuasa Kerja (Works Committee) under National Skills Development Council (MPKK). He also serves as Industry Advisory Panelist for UiTM, UniKL, UMP, UCSI and UTP. He actively shares Industry best practices to young generation as an Adjunct Lecturer in University of Malaya. Ts Anwarudin holds B.sc (Hons) Mechanical with minor in petroleum from UTP and Msc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London.

Munir Faiz is currently heading the Human Capital Investment in PETRONAS. He oversees three key portfolios namely; creating STEM interest amongst school children, supporting the development of TVET talents for oil and gas and managing the prestigious PETRONAS scholarship program. Prior to this role, he was the CHRO for PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad. He has over 25 years of experience in both business and HRM, including a third of his career as an expatriate in three countries; Egypt, Canada, and India, where he served as CEO of a new PETRONAS venture. Munir is passionate on talent development and empowering his team to greater heights. He holds a Masters in Business Psychology from Heriot Watt University and a Chartered Fellow, CIPD.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Azimuddin Bahari is a highly experienced professional with extensive expertise in Land Administration, Property Management, Environmental Management, and Sustainable Development. He holds a PhD along with multiple academic and professional qualifications in surveying, public administration, information systems, and law. He currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of North Borneo University College, Chief Executive Officer of AB Property Management Solution, and Director of UDA Holdings Berhad, while also holding leadership roles in professional bodies. With over three decades of experience in both public and private sectors, he has held senior positions in government, including Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and CEO of Kumpulan Semesta Sdn. Bhd. Internationally, he has represented Malaysia as a lead negotiator in environmental agreements, including FTAs and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). He has also contributed significantly to national policies and legislation related to land, environment, and biodiversity. In academia, he is actively involved in teaching, research, publications, and postgraduate supervision. He has authored books and journal papers, particularly in property and land management. His contributions have been recognized through multiple public service excellence awards and state honours.

Ikhwan Sunoto is a strong advocate for smarter, transparent, sustainable, and fair business practices. Currently serves as an Executive Committee (Asset Integrity & Sabah Region) for the Malaysian Oil, Gas and Energy Services Council (MOGSC), and as the Community Outreach Chairperson for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur (SPE KL), he believes that business should contribute meaningfully to the community, environment, and social development - not just profits. Ikhwan holds a degree in Quantity Surveying from Universiti Teknologi MARA and has completed executive education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He is a Chartered Professional Technologist (Ts.) with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registered with the UK Engineering Council through the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). Born and raised in Sabah, his career spans both domestic and international markets, covering roles in operations and business leadership. He has held key positions at Tidal Group of Companies, EPOMS, Bumi Armada, bp, Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, PETRONAS, and Sapura Energy. Ikhwan is currently the Managing Principal of Synergene Sdn Bhd, a venture builder and strategic investment company focused on sustainable and equitable technologies in diversified industries, with focus on the energy sector.

Ts. Shahril Ridzauddin Mohd Mokhtar is currently the Head of Technology & Digital for Malaysia Petroleum Management, the Malaysia Upstream regulatory arm of PETRONAS. He is a highly experienced professional in the petroleum management and technology sector, with a strong background in mechanical and aeronautical engineering, petroleum engineering, and digital and AI transformation. His career spans various roles across 16 countries and 3 continents and encompasses expertise in wells management, digitalization, data analytics, automation (DDAA) and AI. • Educational and professional qualifications: Ts. Shahril holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical and Aeronautical Design from the University of Brighton in UK, a certificate in Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir Fundamentals from the University of Tulsa in USA, and Professional Technologists accreditation from MBOT, carrying the title Ts. He also completed a Strategic Growth Leadership program focused on Digital Transformation at Columbia Business School in USA. • Expertise and career background: His expertise covers wells intervention, integrity, workover, coiled tubing drilling, completion, abandonment, digitalization, data analytics, automation, and AI. He has extensive experience in idle wells management and production enhancement. His previous roles include positions at Schlumberger, Shell, Talisman, and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, where he led significant industry level programs like CORAL 2.0, CACTUS and COMSTEC and digital initiatives. • Leadership in digital transformation and technology: Ts. Shahril has held leadership roles in Wells Centre of Excellence and Upstream Digital, Technology & Innovation, managing portfolios in digitalization, data analytics, automation and AI, technology scale-ups, and innovation. Dr Madhu Krishna Menon has extensive experience in the Hydrocarbon, Mining and Utility industries. He currently works in the field of Engineering Asset Management, specialising on data-driven solutions for industrial problems. His recent work with mining and utility clients has been in maintenance strategy evaluation and optimisation, life-cycle asset management and facility downtime reduction. He teaches subjects in Asset Management, Risk Engineering and Systems Safety at a public university in Australia as an Engineering Academic. Madhu is enthusiastic in developing pathways for asset-intensive organisations to implement Predictive Maintenance without making significant infrastructure investments, thereby accelerating the digital transformation of asset management function. His focus is on value creation by applying domain knowledge-grounded AI techniques on existing industrial data sources like machinery vibration signals, SCADA systems and unstructured technical text. The solutions are centred around the practical requirements of asset state estimation, anomaly detection, degradation modelling and Remaining Useful Life estimation. By shifting the focus from reactive responses to evidence-based intervention decisions for critical systems and machinery, this approach generates practical pathways for clients to leverage AI-enabled asset condition monitoring. From 2004 to 2016, Madhu held the positions of Senior Engineer and later Staff Engineer for Rotating Machinery at the Sabah Operations of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd. In this role, he evaluated plant modification proposals, conducted feasibility studies, led multi-disciplinary start-up readiness audits for greenfield oil and gas processing facilities and drove root cause failure analysis for high-impact asset failures. He also developed and implemented maintenance strategies, reliability plans and asset integrity frameworks for critical rotating equipment including gas turbines, compressors and pumps. Madhu formerly worked as Machinery Engineer with Larson & Toubro-Chiyoda (India), where he contributed to Detailed Engineering to the Ras-Laffan LNG project in Qatar. He has also worked as Mechanical Engineer in downstream facilities including polymer and fertilizer plants in India. Qualifications and Professional Registrations Madhu holds a PhD in Data-Driven Decision-Making for Predictive Maintenance, a Master of Maintenance and Reliability Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK, Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers India.

Datuk Rosmadi stands as one of the visionary leaders within the Sabah State Government, renowned for his unwavering dedication to public service and transformative leadership. His intellectual journey took him to the esteemed halls of Southern Illinois University where he attained a degree in Sociology and master’s in public administration from California State University, following his formative education at Sabah College. His career in the civil service began humbly in 1980 as a general clerk. Through dedication, perseverance, and a clear vision for progress, he steadily rose through the ranks to hold key leadership roles in the state administration. Throughout his career, which spans more than four decades, he has held numerous key positions across various sectors of state government, including in human capital management, tourism and cultural sector, as well as in community welfare. Over decades, Datuk Rosmadi has earned a reputation for his strategic insights and innovative approach to governance. What truly sets Datuk Rosmadi apart is his unconventional and strategic mindset. He is best known for his signature tagline, “thinking without a box,” which encourage the civil servants to have a new way of thinking as well as to approach challenges with unconventional perspectives and finally come up with a forward-thinking solution. Now, Datuk Rosmadi serves as the Chief Coordinating Officer of Sabah Maju Jaya Secretariat. His role involves overseeing key initiatives aimed at driving economic development through Blue Economy as well as eradicating hardcore poverty in Sabah. As the chief mechanic behind the Pelan Pembangunan Sabah Maju Jaya 1.0, he is responsible for ensuring that the blueprint’s strategic pillars are effectively implemented and aligned with both state and national development goals.

Associate Professor Dr. Firdausi Suffian is a political economist at the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sabah. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Sabah Berhad, the Investment Promotion Agency for the State of Sabah under the Ministry of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport. His research and professional work focus on political economy, industrial policy, and institutional reform. Drawing on his experience as both an academic and former CEO, he bridges theoretical frameworks with real-world governance and policy implementation, offering a nuanced understanding of the complex dynamics shaping economic development. His work examines how state institutions, public investment strategies, and policy frameworks influence structural transformation and regional economic competitiveness. During his tenure at Invest Sabah Berhad, Dr. Firdausi spoke as a keynote speaker and panellist at high-level global forums, government engagements, and business chambers on investment, economic development, and sustainability. He played a role in shaping several strategic initiatives for the Sabah government, including the Blue Economy framework, Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) development strategies, and industrial park development. He also facilitated collaborations with Petronas to promote oil and gas development in Sabah’s East Coast.while advising the state government on various aspects of investment promotion, industrial strategy, and economic development policy. Dr. Firdausi is a visiting lecturer at Mondragon University, Spain, and serves on the Industry Advisory Board at the University of Nottingham Malaysia and Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol (UK), a Master of Public Policy from the Australian National University (ANU), and a First-Class Honours degree from UiTM, Malaysia.

Ts. Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha Binti Syed Ibrahim is the Chief Executive Officer of MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd, bringing over 36 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Her expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design through Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC), across both domestic and international projects. She began her professional career in 1990 as an Instrument Engineer with Sime Engineering. In 1995, she joined MMC Oil & Gas Engineering, where she progressively advanced through various project management and leadership roles before assuming her current position as Chief Executive Officer. Sharifah Zaida holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nottingham, England. In addition to her corporate leadership, she has made significant contributions to industry governance and professional development through numerous leadership appointments. Ts Syed Saggaf bin Syed Ahmad is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Shapadu Oil and Gas Division, leading and managing the Group’s interest in Oil, Gas and Energy industry for both upstream and downstream services segments including management of group’s marine assets. He is also the Executive Director for one of the Oil and Gas division’s subsidiary, Shapadu CR Asia Sdn Bhd focusing on downstream maintenance and turnaround works. He got his early education in English College, Johor Bahru and Sekolah Menengah Sains Muar, Johor. Subsequently, he graduated from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in 2002 with Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.  Upon graduation, he started his career as Mechanical Piping Engineer with Haven Engineering and continued his career with stints at Ramunia Fabricators Sdn Bhd in 2004 and Coral Intoil Sdn Bhd in 2008. Syed Saggaf has been with Shapadu Group since 2010 where he started as Project Manager. In his time with Shapadu, he was promoted to Senior Project Manager, General Manager, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, before eventually becomes the Chief Executive Officer in January 2017.  He now has approximately 20 years experience in the industry, managing major contracts from key clients with an approximate worth of RM 2 billion. He is the current President of Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC) where he plays an important role in engagements with industry stakeholders and players with the objective of creating a sustainable energy ecosystem in Malaysia. Other than these, he is also the Ambassador of UNITEN Alumni, Vice President of Alumni Sains Muar Association, Board Member of Koperasi Tenaga Petroliam Malaysia and Board Member of Study For Industrial Doctorate Program, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Khalisha is a Director at Fragomen Malaysia with more than a decade of experience in Malaysia inbound immigration. Since beginning her career in 2012 at a prominent legal firm, she has built deep expertise in immigration processes and compliance, advising both multinational and local companies on all aspects of Malaysia immigration. In 2014, Khalisha joined Fragomen and was among the pioneers instrumental in establishing and growing the firm’s Kuala Lumpur office. She later played a pivotal role in expanding Fragomen’s presence to East Malaysia, further strengthening the firm’s footprint in the region. Today, Khalisha leads a team of immigration consultants and analysts, providing strategic guidance to organizations navigating complex immigration requirements. She actively engages with government stakeholders, offering constructive feedback to improve Malaysia’s immigration framework. Her commitment is to ensure that policies are streamlined, business‑friendly, and aligned with global standards, enabling Malaysia to remain competitive in attracting and retaining international talent.

Ts Tung Chee Kuan is the President of the Technological Association Malaysia (TAM). He is also the Group President of Peninsula Higher Education Group, The Ship Campus, Penang. Graduated with First Class Honours in Engineering (UMIST) and MSc in Industrial Education and Technology, he has dedicated 38 years of service to the Ministry of Higher Education, in which he oversaw planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of large-scale physical facilities, spearheaded development in (TVET) when he directed Polytechnic Banting, and pioneered a sustainable academia-industry collaborative model as the Director of Industry Liaison and Employability. Beyond his leadership roles, he serves as the President of Technological Association Malaysia (TAM), a member of the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC), and an appointed assessor for the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). A Professional Technologist and ASEAN Engineering Technologist, he frequently shares insights at regional and international forums. His recent professional contribution include Asean Higher Education Leadership Forum 2025, Asean-China AI Convention, Kuala Lumpur Engineering Forum including a featured appearance on TV3’s Money Matters discussing the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on modern industry. His community involvement include being the Honorary Judge for the Creative Young Entrepreneur Award, organised by JCI Malaysia and Shortlist Judge for the 2021 Reimagine Education Awards, jointly organised by QS and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also been invited as a guest speaker for MBOT ThursWeb where he shared his insights on TVET.
