KOTA KINABALU: Petronas President & Group Chief Executive Officer Tengku Muhammad Taufik led a high level team to brief the State Cabinet at the Menara Kinabalu here this morning.
Taufik presented an overview of Petronas Sabah’s operations including the national oil company’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) business.
Today’s briefing followed Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor‘s meeting with senior Petronas management in Kuala Lumpur on 24 August, 2021.
Joining him were Executive Vice President and CEO of Gas and New Energy, Adnan Zainol Abidin, Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy, Mazuin Ismail, Vice President of LNG Assets, Abang Yusuf Abang Puteh, Head, Integrated Hydrocarbon Management, Encik Aidid Chee Tahir, Head (Business Advisory- Upstream)Masnizah Supu and Head of Petronas Sabah and Labuan, Siti Ayu Abdul Wahab.
This was the first briefing to the State Cabinet by Petronas since the GRS Government took over the helm of government.-pr/BNN
